Tsao Foundation Expert Series 2018 invited Professor Tara Cortes, Executive Director of The Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and Professor of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, to share with us on community nursing on 26 June 2018. Prof Cortes presented her views and learning on why the community is the KEY to healthy ageing. Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health, graced the event as the Guest-of-Honour) and delivered a speech too. Speech and presentation were delivered by CEO of Tsao Foundation, Ms Peh Kim Choo, and Assistant Director of Nursing, Tsao Foundation, Sr Fong Yoke Hiong, before the panel discussion commenced. On the panel are moderator Dr Chen Shiling, Physician, Hua Mei Clinic, Tsao Foundation, and panellists, namely Professor Tara Cortes; Ms Chen Yee Chui, Chief Nurse, National Healthcare Group; Ms Low Mui Lang, Executive Director, The Salvation Army Peacehaven Nursing Home; Ms Long Chey May, Deputy Director of Allied Health, Master Medical Social Worker & Head, Medical Social Services, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital; and Sr Fong Yoke Hiong.
