Tsao Volunteers Appreciation Party

Volunteers enrich our society and bring us together as a community. And they are integral to the programmes and services we provide. Every two years, we gather our volunteers for an appreciation party to thank them for their time and effort in helping us care for the elders we serve.

This year, on 14 July, we hosted a volunteer lunch party at the Hilton Hotel. A total of 75 volunteers from the various services attended the event. It was in fact a gathering of old friends as many of the volunteers have been volunteering for many years. We presented 14 volunteers with the 5-year Long Service Award and three with the 10-year Long Service Award.

Besides the good company, food, entertainment and games, a special highlight was the heartfelt sharing by one of our long-time volunteer, Ms Jocelyn Yeo, who has been with us for more than 10 years.
