(SCTP) WSQ Diploma in Social Service

Programme Overview

(SCTP) WSQ Diploma in Social Service offered by Hua Mei Training Academy of Tsao Foundation equips learners with the skills and knowledge needed to develop and implement social service programmes to meet the needs of senior clients with professionalism.

On top of that, the learner will be able to manage teams and volunteers to maximise work performance. The learner will also manage social policy implementation plans and strategies as well as finance to ensure the implementation plans are realistic and feasible.

In addition, the learner will implement Workplace Safety and Health measures and apply legal, ethical and regulatory requirements in operational procedures and practices in order to provide and maintain a safe working environment and to safeguard the rights and interests of clients.

Who Is It For
• Mid-career changers or Job seekers with at least 2 years of working experience.

Career Aspiration
With professional training and relevant ground experience, applicants can enhance their existing skillsets and progress into these job roles: Programme Executive, Assistant Centre Supervisor, Volunteer Executive and Training Executive.

Minimum Entry Requirement
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, aged 21 years old and above.
• GCE A Level and above OR Work Place Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) with at least Level 5 proficiency.
• Applicants will be required to go through a pre-admission interview.
