(SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Basic Community Care Management

Programme Overview

(SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Basic Community Care Management is suitable for individuals with no prior experience in eldercare and would like to go beyond delivering care to meet the physical needs as well as the emotional needs of older persons.

This course will cover the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to deliver effective care to older persons, nursing practices, identifying risks and red flags in elder care, case management and care planning. This will equip Learners with a comprehensive understanding of the ageing process and the effective strategies needed to provide high-quality care to older individuals.

This course includes practical modules that enable Learners to apply their knowledge in specific areas relevant to their job responsibilities.

Who Is It For
• Mid-career changers or Job seekers with at least 1 year of working experience in any industry
• Have interest in community eldercare
• Be motivated to learn and possess positive attitude towards work and commitments

Career Aspiration
With professional training and relevant ground experience, applicants can enhance their existing skillsets and progress into job roles such as Care Coordinator and Programme Executive.

Minimum Entry Requirement
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, aged 21 years old and above
• Minimum GCE O Level (3 subject passes including English)
and/or Work Place Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) with at least Level 4 proficiency

*All applicants will be required to go through a pre-admission interview. Hua Mei Training Academy of Tsao Foundation reserves the right to shortlist and admit suitable applicants.
