This comprehensive course is designed for AAC’s staff who work with volunteers, volunteer executive, volunteer managers who are looking to enhance their skills in designing meaningful volunteer roles and leading volunteer teams effectively. Participants will learn how to create volunteer roles that align with organisational goals and volunteer motivations. They will be able to identify, recruit and develop volunteer leaders. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, this course aims to empower participants to optimise volunteer contributions and foster a positive volunteer experience.

Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible CCOs.

- Recap of Volunteer Management Framework (VMF): Review core principles and stages of the volunteer lifecycle
- Assess organisational need: Identify service gaps and align volunteer roles with organisational priorities
- Job analysis and its methods: Use structured methods to design relevant, effective volunteer roles.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of volunteer programmes: Measure volunteer impact and improve programme quality using data and feedback
- Identify, develop and manage volunteer leaders effectively: Recruit, train, and support volunteers to lead and inspire others

PRE-REQUISITE
AACs’ staff are required to complete Part 1 of the foundational Essential Foundation in Volunteer Management training before moving onto this course to deep diving and learn these two competencies (job design and volunteer leadership) in depth.
