Dr Chuah Taik Pin is Chief Medical Officer at Tsao Foundation, where he provides clinical leadership across the Foundation’s healthcare and community care services. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical governance, service development, care integration, and partnerships that support healthy ageing and community-based care.
A qualified physician trained in the United Kingdom, Dr Chuah has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, with expertise spanning family medicine, geriatric care, clinical ethics, quality improvement, and integrated care models. He spent a significant part of his medical career in the UK National Health Service, where he completed his family medicine training in London and served as lead clinician in several primary care centres. Since returning to Singapore, he has focused on post-acute and community care, advancing person-centred approaches that support older adults in maintaining health, independence, and quality of life.
Dr Chuah holds postgraduate qualifications from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Imperial College London, and the National University of Singapore, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine. He brings a strong focus on clinical quality, innovation, and continuous service improvement to his work with older persons, caregivers, and community partners.
