Promoting the Wellbeing of Older People
We are group of voluntary welfare organisations that has embarked on a series of studies to examine and develop evidence-based practices on resilience relevant to Southeast Asia.

Our goal is to develop a framework and identify processes that leverage on resilience as an asset or a resource to strengthen individuals, particularly older adults and older women, and communities in the face of disasters, change, and uncertainty.

International Longevity Centre Singapore (ILC-S)

Founded in 2009 by Tsao Foundation and part of a global alliance with representative members across 16 countries, ILC-S was established to address longevity and the ageing population issues through research and to promote the wellbeing of older people. Our work centres on contributing to national development through initiating research and forging collaborations which inform policy, facilitate policy-action translation, and promote quality, effective practice in Singapore and the region.

As ILC-S takes the lead in the resilience research study, we are working towards empowering and enabling older persons in the community and communities to strengthen and transform through resilience building.
